Hi, I'm Mechelle Stanchfield, the heart and hands behind Comet & Luna Boutique. Growing up, I was always a creative artist, finding joy in crafting and creating. After my grandfather passed away, I started visiting my grandmother every Saturday. It was during these cherished visits that she taught me to sew, instilling in me a deep love for the craft and leaving me with beautiful memories of our time together.

My passion for sewing and crafting continued to grow, and it found a new direction when my daughter, Haley, got her first Golden Retriever, Comet. Inspired by Comet and my love for animals, I began making pet accessories. Today, I have five dogs—four of which are mini-dachshunds named Luna, Cosmo, Stella, and Winnie—who are my constant companions and inspiration.

At Comet & Luna Boutique, I create a variety of pet accessories, including bow ties, sailor bows, bandanas, collars, and leashes. I take pride in offering custom designs and hand-embroidered personalization, ensuring each item is as unique as the pet it adorns. I also love making matching accessories for pet owners, celebrating the special bond between pets and their humans.
